The Brazil international had been linked with a move away from the Catalan club this summer, with PSG and Man Utd interested, but has announced he will stay at Camp Nou
Neymar has confirmed he is staying at Barcelona after club president Josep Maria Bartomeu revealed he expects the Brazilian to finalise a contract extension “in the next few days”.
The Brazil star has been linked with a big-money move to either Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester United this summer but has now put pen to paper on a new contract at the Camp Nou.
The 24-year-old stated on Twitter: “I am very happy to keep living this dream. Visca Barça and Visca Catalunya”. He also posted the image of himself in a Barcelona strip to his 52.7 million followers on Instagram.
Neymar’s previous deal was to expire in June 2018, with a release clause of €200 million.
